Shenandoah University, an NCAA Division III institution, invites applications for the position of Head Softball Coach. This is a 10-month/full time position with benefits located on our main campus in Winchester, VA.
The Head Softball Coach is responsible for administering all aspects of the sport program including: coaching, recruiting, game scheduling and travel, budget management, equipment and inventory, academic monitoring, community service/engagement, and alumni communication. Responsible for promoting an atmosphere for compliance with NCAA DIII, ODAC, and University rules/regulations. Secondary Responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of successful collegiate softball coaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and 3 – 5 years of successful collegiate softball coaching experience
