Washington College, a NCAA Division III member of the Centennial Conference, is seeking an outstanding candidate for a Part-Time Assistant Baseball Coach. The successful candidate will report to the Head Coach and will assist in all areas required to run a Division III program within college, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Washington College is one of the nation’s leading liberal arts institutions located in the historic town of Chestertown on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Situated on the scenic Chester River we are an easy driving distance from the major metropolitan areas of Annapolis, Washington, DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
Responsibilities: Organize and execute daily practice and game routines as directed by Head Coach. Assist in the general organization and planning of daily practices and game day preparation and logistics, on- and off-campus recruiting, program fund-raising, alumni relations, networking with high school and travel coaches and assist in the planning and execution of clinics and camps, as well as other responsibilities as directed.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and related collegiate playing and/or coaching or high school coaching experience required.
