The Ohio State University Department of Athletics is seeking a Head Coach for Women's Lacrosse. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, develop, direct, and coach an intercollegiate Varsity Women's Lacrosse program. Instructs athletes in fundamentals of Lacrosse, coaches technique and strategy. Recruits scholarship and walk on athletes. Manages all aspects of the program including scheduling, travel, equipment needs, budget, and staffing. Monitors academic progress of student athletes. Participates in development activities to promote the program. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Considerable experience coaching lacrosse required. Position requires working with a diverse student and staff population. Position requires extensive travel.
Coaching experience at the collegiate level and experience coaching female athletes desired. Experience in an NCAA program as a coach or student athlete, and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations desired.
