University of Missouri - St. Louis, a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women’s and Men’s Swimming Coach. This position is a 12-month full time position with benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and managing the women’s and men’s swimming program within the guidelines of the NCAA Division II level, conference and institution. Responsibilities will include assisting the head coach with recruiting, organization of practices in and out of season, skill and player development, management of travel, dry land training, strength and conditioning, academic oversight of student-athletes, community service, and involvement with the management of camps.

Qualifications include: Masters degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of two years of successful coaching and recruiting is required in a collegiate setting. Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills are required, as well as a strong knowledge of current teaching techniques in the sport of swimming.
