The Creative Director will serve as the department’s design coordinator, be responsible for the direction and growth of The University of Tulsa brand and will manage the athletics primary social media outlets.
Develops graphic design collateral for external units to utilize for digital and printed purposes. Collateral will be expected to grow the visibility and brand for The University of Tulsa Department of Athletics
Responsible for creation graphical templates for sport specific digital media purposes
Coordinates with Assistant Director of Digital Sales and Analytics on all digital sales collateral
Manages and directs content for the department’s primary social media sites including the creation and implementation of yearly social media strategies and plans
Works with video, communications and marketing department staffs to ensure that content is regularly updated on department’s main social media accounts, while regularly engaging with fans on social media
Coordinates with Sports Information Directors and teams on social media strategies and best practices
Works with Cane Vision to visualize and coordinate team intro and promotional videos that grow the visibility and brand for The University of Tulsa Department of Athletics
Performs other duties as assigned by Associate Athletic Director of Marketing and Ticket Sales including game day responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree; 3 plus years of relevant experience; experience with InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects; strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends; exceptional design, communication, and social media analytical skills; proven ability to develop an effective social media/graph design plan to achieve goals; strong creative skills to further enhance the department’s brand
Experience with all Adobe Creative Suite platforms is a plus
