This is a full time, 10 month position reporting to the head softball coach. This position is responsible for assisting in coaching the university’s softball program. Coaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruitment of qualified potential student athletes, assisting in game and practice preparation, participation in department fund raising activities, participation in department community service initiatives, adherence to all NCAA, Peach Belt Conference, and GSW policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Secondary responsibility will be assigned depending on candidates credentials.
Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.
More than one year of related experience required.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, instructor certification for CPR within first three months of employment.
