The Inside Sales for Pac-12 Sales represents a unique opportunity for mentorship and to work closely with the Director, Business Development and Account Executives at Pac-12 Sales based at the University of Washington - Athletics in Seattle.
Inside Sales will be responsible for maximizing attendance and revenue by learning how to sell various ticket products with an emphasis on Season Tickets, Partial Plans, and Groups for Football, Men’s Basketball, and all ticketed Olympic Sports. The Inside Sales position requires a minimum of 90% time spent on the phone. Inside Sales must be able to commit to a full-time, 40-hour per week schedule, for this nine-month long program. The Inside Sales of Pac-12 Sales will be paid $15.50 per hour and may be eligible to participate in Pac-12 Sales benefits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Primary focus is training and learning to sell key products: Season Tickets, Partial Plans, and Group Tickets • Job shadow with Director and/or Account Executives to come up with new contacts, past customers, and qualified sales leads to generate new sales • Build rapport with prospects and customers and recognize future sales opportunities • Operate sales tables at home games to distribute sales literature and provide customer service • Obtain training with all Business Intelligence tools (Paciolan, Salesforce, Tableau, etc.) • Learn key elements of providing excellent customer service • Assist in customer service initiatives as called upon • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements: • Candidates should be computer proficient, detail oriented, and desire to advance their career in the sports business • Prior telemarketing or sales experience preferred • Have a friendly and professional telephone manner • Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) and listening skills • Display a genuine desire to help people • Ability to work well with others and independently • Ability to take action beyond what is called for • Demonstrate a positive attitude

Pac-12 SALES & Pac-12 MMR LLC was formed to provide Sales and Service resources to the Pac-12 membership by placing Pac-12 Sales staff on campus to work closely with athletic departments to increase sponsorship, ticket or fundraising revenue. In recent years, the Pac-12 Conference has worked closely with institutions to develop and share best practices throughout the year and on special projects. The creation of Pac-12 Sales & Pac-12 MMR is a new endeavor to directly assist in these areas on our campuses.
