We are seeking driven, courageous and confident leaders who are ready to address the urgent challenge of urban education during one rewarding year of instruction, mentorship, and coaching in Baltimore, Maryland. Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys is a college preparatory public charter school, serving boys in grades 4 thru 8 in the 2019-2020 School Year.
Small Group setting math instruction
Family home visits
Occasional day, evening and weekend activities for students, such as field trips, sporting events, retreats and camping trips; Counseling and advising scholars, including leading small group sessions
Designing and leading community service projects, and school programs
Attending local lectures and community events
Members must be between 18 and 24 years old at the start of the year of service.
Selected candidates from the phone interview stage will be asked to submit a full application, which may require essay questions, a 5-10 minute math assessment, and reference checks.
The final stage of the process is an on-site visit for in-person interviews
