The United States Naval Academy invites applications for the position of Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach.
The Academy’s Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach is responsible for all aspects of a highly competitive and nationally recognized NCAA Division 1 lacrosse program in the Patriot League. Coaching responsibilities will also include the public relations, fiscal management, and most importantly, the recruitment of student-athletes who meet the academic and physical entrance requirements for an appointment to the Naval Academy. Knowledge of, and a commitment to compliance with, NCAA and Naval Academy regulations, as well as dedication to the moral, mental and physical development of midshipmen are paramount considerations. Applicants of impeccable personal and professional integrity who have demonstrated leadership and success in collegiate lacrosse coaching are invited to apply. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred. Candidates must have an extensive and accomplished coaching background in the sport of men’s lacrosse, excellent communication skills, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a proven ability to recruit quality student athletes. Documented success as a head coach at the collegiate level strongly preferred.
