This position is responsible for assisting with the overall coaching, administration, planning, management and direction of an NCAA Division I swimming and diving program competing as a member of the MW Conference.

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in HPER, HES, Sports Management, Recreation, Business, Education, Marketing, Kinesiology, Liberal Arts, Communication, Sociology or any other field related to responsibilities and duties
Previous coaching experience in swimming is required, preferably at the NCAA Div. I level
Previous recruiting experience required, preferably at the NCAA Div. I level
Knowledge of NCAA rules/regulations required
Excellent communications skills
Proficiency in designing/implementing effective teaching/coaching techniques
Computer and social media technology competency
Ability to demonstrate/instruct/coach highly competitive student-athletes
Understanding of academic, admissions and eligibility requirements
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and travel
Preferred Job Qualifications
Competitive collegiate or professional playing experience preferred
Proficiency with JumpForward or similar compliance/recruiting software program preferred
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
