Job Summary/Objective: Coordinate and oversee of use of athletic facilities among the SBC community members and external groups, including summer programming.
Position Type/Expected Work Hours: FT, varied including evenings and weekends
Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees Student and Staff Workers for Fitness and Athletic Center (FAC)
Coordinate scheduling of PE and Athletics facilities for classes and competitions using scheduling software Responsible for approving facility requests from other areas of campus Manage employment process and training for all athletic facility workers including student workers, and summer staff hires. Coordinate and communicate maintenance needs, and housekeeping with physical plant and appropriate contacts (coaches, AD, staff); continue with follow-up of issues until resolved appropriately Communicate and follow-up pool/aquatic area needs as requested by Swim Coach/Aquatics Director to appropriate area Coordinate external programs and recreation use of facilities (after Athletics schedule is confirmed)
Coordinate games management duties Order and maintain office area supplies (copier supplies, mail area) Summer camp oversight and main contact throughout calendar year Assistance with athletics banquet process Other duties as assigned
Work Environment: Various work environments from summer outdoor work with camps/teams to indoor facilities administrative responsibilities in office environment.
Physical Demands: Moderate activity; must be able to walk the facilities and lift up to 20# on occasion.
