University of Arkansas at Little Rock (NCAA D1) – Little Rock is currently in the process of accepting applications for (1) Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach starting July of 2019. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to developing and implementing a periodized strength & program for 1-3 intercollegiate athletic teams and assist with others as necessary. Assist with and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. The candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, knowledge and experience with coaching the Olympic Lifts, and a desire to pursue a career in the field of Athletic Development. Additionally, candidates should have a great work ethic, and strong computer skills especially in excel. Minimum requirements include a current NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC, and a current CPR, First Aide and AED certification. Preferred experience includes experience at the NCAA Division 1 level coaching strength and conditioning for intercollegiate athletes, playing intercollegiate athletics, and a USAW certification. A minimum of a 3.0 GPA and a GRE are required for enrollment into the university. A full tuition and book waiver as well as a stipend will be provided as compensation.
