The University of Bridgeport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Women’s Volleyball Graduate Assistant for the 2019-2020 academic year. UB is a member of the East Coast Conference (ECC). The selected applicant will receive a tuition waiver for up to nine graduate credits per semester. The applicant will be responsible for the cost of any fees and housing associated with the program. This position is renewable for the next academic year conditional upon satisfactory performance, availability of funds and adherence to all University of Bridgeport student employment protocols.
Responsibilities: The Graduate Assistant will serve as the assistant to the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with daily practices and weight training sessions, assisting with the recruitment of student athletes, attending all games, team functions and tournaments, assisting with fundraising. As well as other duties as designated by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics including home game management. Qualifications: Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and be fully admitted into one of UB’s graduate programs. Candidate should have playing experience at the collegiate level. Required to work up to 18 hours per week during the academic school year based on the credit hours attempted.
