DIRECTOR OF WOMEN'S BASKETBALL VIDEO SERVICES: Direct and oversee all duties and responsibilities associated with the women's basketball program, which includes but is not limited to hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of video workers; fiscal planning and management of the women's basketball video program budget; oversee operation and maintenance of cameras and computerized editing systems, and film exchange program; produce recruiting and highlight videos; equipment purchase recommendations; and assist with coordination of camp program activities.
An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
Direct and oversee the women’s basketball video program which includes creating analysis of defense and offense; creation and production of motivational, recruiting, banquet and coach’s show videos; videotape practices and competitions; and maintain video library and archival system.
Manage video program budget. Oversee and monitor video program purchases and video mailing expenses. Research video equipment needs and pricing for head coach.
Advertise, interview, hire, train, schedule and supervise video program student workers.
Manage videotape exchange program. Assist with coordination of camp program activities as required.
Assist with recruiting weekends.
Bachelor’s Degree by hire date (est May 20, 2019)
Video production and editing experience
Computer application and program experience
Experience working successfully without supervision
Experience performing successfully under pressure, being very organized and able to meet deadlines
Knowledge and proficient using Synergy, SportsCode, and Just Play computer software
Professional video production and/or editing experience in a NCAA Division I basketball program
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Must possess very good verbal and written communication skills
