Williams College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Assistant/Associate Athletic Director for Inclusion and Compliance. The appointment will begin as a three-year renewable appointment in the academic year 2019-2020.
Responsibilities include teaching physical education classes; coordinating all College, NESCAC, and NCAA compliance efforts; coordinating departmental diversity and inclusion initiatives, in particular educational programming for teams and coaches, working with admissions and financial aid, serving as the departmental liaison to the Gaius C. Bolin Student Athlete of Color SAAC sub-committee; serving as liaison to NCAA for tournament submission, direction, and reporting, and other duties as assigned by the Chair.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree and previous college administrative experience preferred. Title commensurate with experience. We are especially interested in individuals who have experience with diverse populations who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletic opportunities at Williams.
