Virginia State University NCAA DII, CIAA, is a 4-year Historically Black public university. Located in Petersburg VA, seeks qualified candidates for a Graduate Assistant within our women’s volleyball program. Starting August 2019.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to: recruiting, assisting in practice, traveling, competition preparation, fundraising, study hall supervision, administrative duties, and working together with the head coach in all aspects of the program.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, strong collegiate playing and/or coaching background and effective communication skills. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. A background check is required.
The position will include a full tuition and book waiver for Virginia State University, along with a room and board stipend.
The applicant must be accepted into the Virginia State University Graduate Program.
