Direct all aspects of a Community College Soccer program as the head coach while working with the Athletic Director
Recruitment of service area high schools and contiguous districts’ students/athletes
Development of the Women’s Soccer program
Maintain the schedule and budget of the Women’s Soccer program
Selection of assistant coaches
Possesses knowledge of all Commission on Athletics and Bay Valley Conference rules and regulations
Fundraising for the Women’s Soccer Program
Retention of students/athletes at the college level
Duties and Responsibilities: Adjunct Faculty duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
providing instruction in accordance with established curriculum, course outlines and class schedules;
creating and maintaining an environment which emphasizes learning, encourages free discussion of ideas and critical thinking;
evaluating progress of students concerning educational matters and grades student work;
meeting with students outside of class;
maintaining appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics;
maintaining current knowledge in the subject matter areas;
fulfilling professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member;
maintaining accurate academic records;
performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification-Education/Experience: Minimum Qualifications (Note: Degrees must be from an accredited college/university) The applicant must possess ONE of the following: a)Any Bachelor’s Degree plus two years work experience in soccer coaching OR b)Any Associate’s Degree plus six years experience in soccer coaching
Desirable Qualifications: Possess a Master’s degree in physical education or education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education.
