The Department of Sports Science and Health Education is accepting applications for a tenure track position in Sport Administration.
The selected candidate will: •Teach three (3) courses per semester, consistent with their training and interests, from the following list of courses: Intro to Leisure and Sport Administration, Sport Management, Sport Marketing, Sport Law, Event and Facility Management, and Sport Finance. •Direct the senior capstone for Sports Administration majors and supervise student internships. •Contribute to student success, recruitment, and completion, work to enhance an equitable and inclusive environment, leverage partnerships and expand global impact through advising students, conduct scholarly work in the form of research and/or service to the profession, incorporate experiential learning into coursework, collaborate with sport organizations and provide service to the college.

Required Qualifications include:
PhD or other terminal degree in Sport Management or Sport Administration preferred. (ABD Degree should be conferred on an official transcript by the end of first semester of employment).
Experience in teaching college or university-level classes or sports management industry.
Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with sport and leisure organizations to facilitate experiential learning and research opportunities, internships, and potential fulltime employment for students.
Demonstrated participation in department activities and university service and ability to work with faculty and staff in a collegial and cooperative manner.
