Responsible for supervision of all operational aspects of game day video streaming and in-game production. To include:
• Oversight of game day video streaming and in-game production for all streamed sports. • Oversight of video board production and the implementation of on-demand content • Responsible for effective management and training of staff and camera operators. • Ensure compliance with outlined Patriot League Network broadcast standards • The creation and effective execution of overall multimedia and video production strategy across all aspects of the athletics department.
Responsible for supervision of all operational aspects of multimedia and original video content. To include:
• The planning and production of original video content in support of the athletics department, 25 athletic programs, and its strategic initiatives. • The creation, oversight, and implementation of a content production and release schedule of original video content. • Graphic design initiatives and shaping the department's social media strategy, both for department and athletic team operated channels. • Effective communications and promotion of tickets and other revenue producing channels. • The creation of materials utilizing Adobe Creative Suite software. • The implementation of effective communications and promotions strategy of special events. • Providing effective video production guidance to special events as needed (e.g. Colgate Hall of Fame induction, All Sports Banquet, President's Club, Philanthropy events, National Girls and Women in Sport recognition). • Ensure positive relationships between the program and key stakeholders, to include alumni, local community, fans, parents, local media outlets, faculty, and other University constituents. • Budget oversight in assigned areas. • Effective management, hiring, training, and evaluation of all student staff and interns. Independent decision-making authority in all hiring and dismissal of all staff.
Supervision and management of the Video Production Interns. To include:
• Provision of fair and accurate input to Director of Athletic Communications regarding employment status (hire, promotion, salary increases, termination) • Oversight of job performance, development and continued professional growth of direct reports.
Maintain personal compliance with all relevant governing bodies to include: • NCAA • Specific conference • Athletic department • University policies
Responsible for supporting the vision for the Division of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics, to be an inclusive community of competitive excellence, and for demonstrating the division's core values in all interactions.
Demonstrated expertise with specialized software and hardware within video production, graphic design, and social media including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.) Final Cut Pro, TriCaster, and BlackMagic
Certifications A current valid driver's license, in accordance with the University's Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, is required.
Education: Bachelors Degree Required
