SUNY Cortland is seeking applicants for head coach of Women’s Gymnastics.
The head coach for Women’s Gymnastics is responsible for all aspects of the Women’s Gymnastics program, including, but not limited to: practice preparation, skill instruction, gymnastics coaching, player development, recruiting, budget management, team travel, scheduling, academic success and student-athlete welfare. Responsibilities include the administration and organization of a successful program that competes in the East Region of the NCGA and adheres to all NCGA and NCAA Division III rules, and; course instruction in the Physical Education, Sport Management or Exercise Science programs. This is a full-time position with a 9.5 month obligation (8/15-5/31) and 10% teaching responsibilities.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sport Management, Exercise Science or a related field. A Master’s Degree and three to five years of coaching experience at an NCAA institution is highly preferred.
