Dartmouth College, a member of the Ivy League, seeks an Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Squash. This is a full-time position with benefits. The individual will assist with all areas of a competitive intercollegiate program including practice/match planning and coaching, individual skill development, recruiting, and administrative tasks. Bachelor’s degree, coaching certification and six years experience playing and/or coaching squash at an elite level preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to recruit effectively within the Ivy League philosophy of no athletic grants-in-aid and highly selective admissions standards. Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Coaching certification preferred.
Six years’ experience playing and/or coaching squash at the elite level.
Strong knowledge of squash skills and strategies.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to recruit effectively with no athletic grants and highly selective admissions standards.
Must possess valid drivers license for off-campus recruiting efforts.
