Francis Marion University, a NCAA Division II institution, invites applications for the position for an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1.On court coaching, teaching and scouting 2.Assisting Head Coach in monitoring student-athletes for academic requirements, retention, and progress toward graduation 3.Maintaining all web-based compliance assistance software data 4.Organizing and overseeing the game management duties 5.Assisting with recruitment of student-athletes 6.Assisting with Head Women's Basketball Coach in meeting with various community organizations to promote interest in the athletic program at FMU 7.Assisting with all Fundraising activities
A bachelor's degree is preferred. Previous coaching experience is required, along with ability to communicate and teach skilled athletes in basketball. Candidates must have a working knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations.
