Job Description: Purdue Fort Wayne Athletics, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a member of The Summit League, has an opening for an Academic Support Graduate Assistant in the Mastodon Academic Performance (MAP) Center. The GA is responsible for meeting with at-risk and freshmen student-athletes to make a plan of success and monitor academic progress for the 14 Division I intercollegiate programs. The goal of the GA is to teach student athletes the necessary skills so they are academically successful.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with relevant undergraduate experience is required. Interested candidates should have a teamwork approach within the athletic department. The selectee must become a full-time graduate student seeking a master’s degree in any academic Purdue Fort Wayne major.
