K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Fan Experience Assistant, which is a temporary, full-time, benefits-eligible position for up to 24 months.
An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
•Direct oversight over the development and implementation of all fan experience and game production aspects for two assigned sports (from women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball or soccer) as well as student marketing/attendance promotions and grassroots fan initiatives with a focus on providing the ‘The Best Fan Experience in the Big 12 Conference’.
•Writing scripts for and producing home games. Coordinating in-game elements including anthem singers, color guards, halftime acts and timeout entertainment.
•Develop and implement student marketing attendance campaigns for multiple sports. Marketing efforts for K-State’s Olympic sport programs.
•Manage a staff of 20 undergraduate interns. Managing the Junior Wildcat Kids Club. Coordinating K-State’s presence at community events and assist with Welcome to K-State customer service committee.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, sports marketing or related field
Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator)
Two years experience working in a collegiate athletic marketing office
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Additional Salary Information: $10 per hour (approximately $20,800 yearly estimate plus paid overtime) in the first year; potential to earn $12.50 (approximately $26,000 yearly estimate plus paid overtime) after completion of first year with a successful review. Paid biweekly (26 pay periods).
