Mitchell College is seeking to hire a Head Men’s & Women’s Coach for creating and maintaining a successful men’s and women’s Cross Country program for the College. S/He will directly report to the Director of Athletics, keeping her abreast of all planning, organizing, staff and development of Mitchell College’s Cross Country program. In addition to coaching, the incumbent will be responsible for recruiting and administrative duties in relation to their coaching duties, in accordance with Mitchell College, New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) and NCAA Division III regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties: •Direct all aspects of the coaching and management of the program. •Recruit qualified student athletes. •Coach, schedule and prep for games and practices •Oversee team fundraising. •Manage the team budget, fundraising, and alumni development. •Support the academic and personal development of all athletes. •Maintain a visible presence at department functions, College open houses and College events. •Being a visible, fully integrated member of the College community. •Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (MS preferred)
1-3 years of coaching experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Current and valid driver's license
Current First Air, CPR & AED certification
