The Associate Director, Facilities & Operations provides high-level guest relations and coordination of all internal and external events and camps at Athletic facilities. Oversees the recruitment, training, and scheduling for part-time OPS staff. Assists the Associate Athletics Director with special projects as assigned and ensures compliance with applicable NCAA, Atlantic Sun, Federal, and State rules, regulations, and laws governing areas of responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization such as Sport Management, Sport Administration, Management, Business Administration, or closely related discipline.
Four years of professional experience managing external events in an Intercollegiate Athletic setting, and managing a part time staff.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Possess current Forklift Operator, American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain within ninety days of hire.
