Caltech seeks dynamic educator to lead young women’s soccer program.

Responsibilities: The head coach of women’s soccer is responsible for administering all aspects of the sport program including: coaching, recruiting, game scheduling, student development, supervision of a part time assistant coach, budget management, compliance with NCAA, and conference rules/regulations and community building. The head coach will teach in the physical education curriculum, support colleagues through game management assignments and perform other duties as may be assigned.
Position: This is a full time, twelve month position, with excellent health, vacation and retirement benefits. The expected starting salary range is between $55-65,000 depending on education, experience and expertise. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the anticipated start date is not later than June 1, 2019.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred; collegiate soccer playing experience and organized coaching experience preferred, collegiate coaching experience strongly preferred; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, judgement and integrity; Strong computing skills including database manipulation, email and calendar savvy; the ability to teach through use of images and emerging technologies; passion and ability for personal growth and learning, ability and desire to be a role model for young women.
