Assistant AD for Game Day Experience - (1900004D) Job Purpose Towson University is accepting applications for an Assistant AD For Game Day Experience. The selected candidate will plan and execute inspiring Game Day, in-game Experience & Environment; provide feasible and sustainable experience for Tiger Fans at ticketed sporting events; football, men's basketball, men's lacrosse, volleyball, women's basketball, women's lacrosse and gymnastics. Synchronize key groups into Game-Day; thematic partners, Student-Groups, sponsors, donors, Student-Athlete alumni, season-ticket holders, groups, and faculty & staff. Integrate Band, Cheer and other student-centric groups into Game Day Environment. Collaborate within department; Community Partner Coordinator, Director of Ticket Sales & Operations, Director of Media Relations, Tiger Sports Network, Tiger Athletic Fund, and the Total Tiger Program. Game Day Experience & Environment is assessed on attendance, revenue generation, student-athlete & team experience and increase of TAF participants.
Description Responsible for Game-Day Experience: Synchronized integration of key game-day groups; thematic partners, student-groups, sponsors, donors, student-athlete alumni, season-ticket holders, groups, faculty & staff. Develop inspiring atmosphere for student-athletes & fans including the integration of the Tiger Sports Network. Integration of Cheer, Band and other student-groups & community elements into game environment. Oversee game day experience budget. Supervise full-time, intern and student staff as applicable.
Marketing: Developing Marketing Campaign in support and enticing fans to experience the game-day environment for all 19 sports, with emphasis on ticketed sports. Execute comprehensive timelines on an annual basis. Oversee and coordinate design, printing and distribution of all printed collateral materials and website marketing graphics. Work both internal within athletics an external with University Marketing & Communications.
Collaborate within department: Community Partner Coordinator, Director of Ticket Sales & Operations, Director of Media Relations, Tiger Sports Network, Tiger Athletic Fund, and the Total Tiger Program.
Ticket Sales & Operations: Assist in attendance and ticket revenue goals for ticketed sports.
Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate AD, Strategic Communications.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years large scale event and/or marketing experience. Leadership as demonstrated through an ability to articulate the Department of Athletics vision through to the game day experience, well organized and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, computer proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, ability to work well with diverse populations of students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members, respect for sensitive and confidential information, ability to respond positively to feedback and advise corrective measures, ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines, adherence to NCAA rules and regulations required. Familiarity with collegiate athletics and a top 25 media market preferred.
