Concordia University Chicago, an NCAA D-III institution located in River Forest, Illinois seeks qualified applicants for an opening for a graduate assistant for men's soccer coach.
Description of Position/Duties/Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are to serve as assistant to the head coach and be main contact and organizer for CUC camps. This includes marketing to local community, contacting local clubs, emails to contacts and recruits. Duties and responsibilities can include by not limited to recruiting, practice organization, running training sessions in small groups or with individuals. Match day preparation, travel accommodations, scouting, film analysis, fundraising and camps. Assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and evaluation along with other administrative duties as assigned by head coach or athletic administration.
Monthly stipend from the university, subject to applicable taxes.
A passion to learn the traits of collegiate athletics both from a coaching and administrative standpoint.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and have previous collegiate playing or coaching experience.
USSF, NSCAA or UEFA coaching license expected
The successful candidate must be accepted into the Concordia University Chicago graduate program
Familiarity with FrontRush, HUDL, video break down and ability to create clips for players and staff
Ability to build recruiting relationships with Potential Student Athletes, Coaches and Organizations
