St. Olaf College, a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and NCAA Division III, invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Football Coach. This 12-month position is responsible for coaching a position group, actively recruiting a designated territory, serving as recruiting coordinator for campus visits, and other duties assigned by the head coach.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and demonstrate a commitment to positive student-athlete experience. Successful collegiate recruiting experience is preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree; maintain a valid driver’s license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization criteria with a satisfactory driving record
Experience: 2+ years of Football coaching experience at either a professional, college/university or high school level; advanced knowledge of Football
Education: Master’s Degree
Experience: Professional or college level Football coaching experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
Ability to be a motivated self-starter
Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and parents
Ability to work successfully independently and as a member of a team
Ability to establish program goals and objectives that support a strategic plan
Ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
Skill in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets
Ability to work flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
Knowledge of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and MIAC regulations
Ability and willingness to support, respect and commit to embracing diverse backgrounds, values and points of view to build a strong and inclusive community including faculty, staff, students and constituents
