The University of West Florida is seeking a full-time graduate assistant with women's swimming and diving.
The Graduate Assistant Coach for Women’s Swimming will report to the Head Swim Coach and assist in all phases of the Women’s Swimming and Diving season. Assist the coaching staff with the organization and direction of all aspects of the NCAA Division II Swim and Dive team.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to: •assisting the head coach with planning and implementation of daily practices •strength workout management •recruitment of prospective student-athletes •meet management duties •manage equipment/apparel •arranging team travel and post-trip reporting •NCAA compliance reporting •fundraising, •team building and athletic development and •academic monitoring and fundraising events
ARGO Swimming & Diving is seeking an individual who is driven and enthusiastic about promoting a positive environment for its athletes and developing championship teams, while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
UWF Swimming is seeking someone with a desire to learn and teach the sport of swimming in order to advance the team goals and accomplishments even further.
Qualifications: Preferred candidate should have competitive swimming experience at the collegiate level (previous coaching experience desirable), a Bachelor’s degree and must be accepted into one of our graduate programs. Candidate should have lifeguard, CPR, first aid certifications or be willing to obtain them prior to arrival in Pensacola. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Additional Salary Information: $8,500.00 approximate compensation and tuition. Includes matriculation waiver and out-of-state tuition where applicable.
