The Athletic Business Coordinator is responsible for support activities within the Athletics Business Office with a particular focus on the cash deposits, sales reporting, reconciliation, analysis, and supervision of a cash handling team at various events. Duties for cash deposits will include the preparation of batch reports on a daily basis and having the summary of payment activity reported through CashNet. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Sports Management or related field
At least one year experience working in ticket office or business office in college athletics or professional sports (Internships, Graduate Assistantships, or Hourly Employees are applicable)
Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed, in support of ticket initiatives and/or other events
Experience with accounting procedures
Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Sports Management or related field
Proficiency in Excel
Demonstrated experience/ability to efficiently and accurately process payments and deposits
Experience in ticket sales/operations
Experience working with donors and fans on ticket payments
Demonstrated experience in excellent customer service
