Elon University is currently accepting applications for an Assistant/Associate Director of Career Services for Student Athletes. This position, housed in Elon Athletics, will report to the Senior Associate Director in the Student Professional Development Center (SPDC). The position acts as the liaison between the SPDC and Elon Athletics, working closely with staff in both departments to assure that services rendered are meeting the needs of student-athletes across the university. The position will provide one-on-one career advising/coaching for all Elon student-athletes, engage with employers to identify internship and full-time job opportunities, assist in the planning and execution of SPDC career programs and events, and create and manage athlete-specific career development programs. In addition, this position is responsible for tracking student-athlete job and internship placement information, and regularly synthesizing and communicating that information to the Executive Director of the SPDC and the Athletic Director.
