Position Summary: This positions assists the Director of Athletic Communications with all phases of sports information within Bulldog Athletics.
Qualifications & Requirements: •Bachelor's degree in areas relevant to coaching, education, sports and recreation, etc. •Proficient with Microsoft and Mac tools. •Evenings and weekends required. •Ability to work well with college students. •Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a competitive environment. •Commitment to Concordia University's Christian values. •Valid driver’s license. •Ability to drive a 12-passenger van.
General Duties: •Assist with production of promotional pieces for Bulldog Athletics via print, web, and social media to engage fans. •Provide supervision, set-up, and training for game-day duties related to sports information (statistics, PA, webcast, video board displays, social media updates, etc.). •Assist with media relations, compliance, and reporting. •Assist with writing, statistical compilation, data collection, and maintaining historical data records. •Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Communications.
Athletic graduate assistant positions come with additional benefits including graduate tuition waiver of 9 credit hours per semester, along with a bi-weekly salary over 12 months.
