Penn State Mont Alto is accepting applications for a Head Cross Country Coach. The Head Coach is responsible for the overall direction and organization of both the men's and women's program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, academic monitoring, practice planning, organizing home competitions, scheduling, budget management, fundraising, and conducting youth summer camps/clinics. This is a part-time position. Qualifications/Requirements for the Position: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, previous coaching experience at the collegiate level, but will consider high school coaching experience; previous recruiting experience a plus. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to compliance with the University, the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), and the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association). This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job responsibilities; a valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
