IOWA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY Head Women’s Soccer Coach
Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for Head Women’s Soccer Coach. This is a full-time, exempt position working closely with the Athletic Director. Head Women’s Soccer Coach is responsible for administering and organizing all aspects of an NCAA Division III women’s soccer program.
Responsibilities include: •Represent Iowa Wesleyan University and the Athletic Department in a positive manner with a high degree of integrity at all times. •Promote and support Iowa Wesleyan University and its mission. •Promote and support Iowa Wesleyan Tiger Athletics program mission and goals. •Provide leadership in the planning and operation of the program. •Administer program within the policies of Iowa Wesleyan University, SLIAC, and the NCAA. •Provide an environment conducive to a high level of academic performance by team members. •Employ retention initiatives for student-athletes through collaboration with numerous University offices. •Organize and facilitate all daily practice sessions, contest preparation, competition, and off-season training. •Develop and maintain a successful recruiting system while maintaining a high level of visibility within Iowa Wesleyan’s service region. •Schedule contests in accordance with the policies set forth by Iowa Wesleyan University. •Coordinate travel and meal considerations for away contests. At times, coaches may be required to drive teams to away contests. •Organize and run summer camps to help young players improve their athletic skills and create positive exposure for IW’s athletic program. •In collaboration with the Athletic Director, maintain a close working relationship and communication pattern with city administrators directly responsible for the upkeep of the East Lake soccer complex. •Evaluate and review the program and recommend changes and improvements to the Director of Athletics. •Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree • 3 – 5 years of high level coaching experience • Class C-Non-Commercial Driver’s License
