Muskingum University is now accepting applications in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics for a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Training. As the Graduate Assistant in Athletic Training, the successful candidate is responsible for assigned team coverage and all injury management including rehabilitation of assigned athletes.
Additional duties include assisting with Athletic Training room coverage, coordinating off-campus referrals, and maintenance of all appropriate documentation. Staff members will also supervise the Athletic Training students assigned to them as an ATP Preceptor.
Compensation includes housing, full graduate school tuition remission at Muskingum University, a full meal plan when the food services is open, and a stipend $6,000.00. This is a ten-month appointment. The employed Graduate Assistant will be issued a one-year contract renewable thru completion of the degree being pursued. Requirements include BA / BS Degree, NATA-BOC certification; have a valid Ohio license in Athletic Training by August 1, 2019.
