The Producer/Editor is responsible for assisting with the videography and editing for video production projects as assigned ranging from in-house produced sports television shows to live television production for big screen events at TCU Horned Frogs Athletics venues, in addition to multipurpose video content such as video features, highlight videos, hype videos, graphics video elements, hall of fame videos and live streamed and on-demand digital video content.
Creates best-in-class video content for multipurpose use, including but not limited to video boards, broadcast television, hall of fame displays, social media and GoFrogs.com by shooting, editing and producing features, team introductions, headshots, hype videos, graphics, sponsor elements, press conferences and sporting events and activities for sport programs and events as assigned.
Supports all live athletics video productions by serving on either video board or broadcast crews
Maintains first-class student work force by assisting Director of Athletics Video Productions with selection of student workers and teaching best-in-class techniques for shooting, editing, and producing content utilizing both linear and nonlinear systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Media or related field.
Two years of experience that directly relates to this position.
Knowledge of graphics creation software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
Knowledge of Non-Linear Editing on the Premiere platform
Skill in Electronic News Gathering (ENG) (field video camera, lighting, and related audio)
Skill in both spoken and written communication.
Ability to produce video content
Ability to create and implement graphics for sports broadcasts
Ability to work with minimal supervision under strict deadlines in a fact paced environment.
Ability to work non-traditional hours.
