Dordt College is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant position for the Men's & Women's Volleyball program. The position is a 2-year commitment with annual review. Primary responsibilities as a GA include, but are not limited to, assisting with all aspects of recruiting, practice, and game preparation, managing the JV program, implementing extensive summer camps, working individually and with small groups of players, maintaining the social media network, and breaking down game film. Hours expected to work in the role of assistant coach would be approximately 750-1,000 hours.
A bachelor's degree in Education and admission into Dordt's Master of Education program is required. Past experience coaching and/or playing volleyball is desired. Hiring priority will be given to candidates interested in the graduate student program, but consideration will also be given to candidates looking to serve only in a part-time coaching capacity.
