This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. A minimum of three years of experience with increasing responsibilities in management and support of information systems and information technology; direct management of an enterprise IT operation and team is preferred. Significant experience within the IT Department of an NCAA Division I Athletic Department setting is desirable. Familiarity with Department of Defense IT policies and procedures is desirable as well, but not required. The candidate is also required to have: - Proficiency with local and wide area network design, implementation, and operation.
- Working knowledge of various office productivity software programs, digital content management systems, and integration of web based tools.
- Proficiency with various computer hardware and hardware peripherals such as printers, monitors, modems, routers and other equipment.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills.
- Ability to negotiate and defuse conflict.
- Traits of self-motivation, independence, multi-tasker, cooperative, flexible, and creative.

- Data processing methods and procedures, and various computer software systems that are used by a business office, ticketing, development and sports programs.
- Systems design and development process, including requirements analysis, installation, evaluation and operational management.
- Design, manage, and operate digital content management.
- Broadcast and audio-visual technologies to ensure smooth operation for televised events at various athletic venues.
- Non-traditional technologies used in athletic environments such as scoreboards, video equipment, fiber optic transmission devices, and other technologies.
