King University is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Volleyball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the women’s volleyball program.
Responsibilities: Supervise all activities related to student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; establish the team's competition and practice schedules; Recruit student athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA and Conference Carolinas rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of three years’ experience coaching volleyball. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of volleyball, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Experience participating in volleyball at the collegiate level. Experience coaching volleyball at the college level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.
