Job Description: The Head Women's and Men's Volleyball Coach is responsible for the overall management of the volleyball program including, practice planning, recruitment, player development and implementing game strategy.
Essential Functions: •Responsible for leading all aspects associated with the women's and men's Division III NCAA volleyball programs at Lesley University. •Lead the women's and men's volleyball team according to NCAA, New England Collegiate College and Lesley University standards, rules and regulations •Demonstrate awareness of, commitment, and adherence to NCAA and Conference rules to help instruct and develop student-athletes. •Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy. •Make strategic decisions in contest situations. •Lead administrative responsibilities associated with the program operations, including fundraising efforts and community service. •The head coach will also oversee the non-traditional seasons of the women's (spring) and men's (fall) teams respectively.
Requirements: •Bachelor's Degree required. •Previous successful collegiate coaching experience or do you have playing experience at the college, semi-professional, professional, or international level. •Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. •Must have a valid U.S. driver's license. •Must be authorized to work in the United States; if you hold a visa, your visa status must allow you to work at Lesley University.
