The Department of Athletics is seeking a Coordinator for Compliance. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Athletic Director.

This position provides assistance to the Sr. Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors for Compliance for the Athletic department’s rules and compliance efforts, ensuring facilitation of procedures regarding the department’s compliance policies, with the rules of the NCAA, PAC-12 bylaws, and providing support for the compliance efforts of all coaches. The Compliance Coordinator assists in ensuring compliance with all University, PAC-12 Conference and NCAA rules and regulations governing intercollegiate athletics, including, but not limited to: amateurism, recruiting, financial aid, playing & practice seasons, and eligibility.
1 year of experience in Intercollegiate Athletics.
Experience in policy analysis and/or legal briefing (coursework qualifies).
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 24 months.
Law degree or other graduate degree.
1 year of NCAA Compliance experience.
Experience with NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal form.
A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
