Executive, Executive - Associate Athletics Director
Mount Holyoke College (MHC) is seeking a dynamic leader for its position of Associate Director of Athletics for Programming. The Department is completing a strategic planning process that sets an ambitious and exciting agenda for the competitive future of MHC Athletics. This individual will be a key member of the Chair/Director’s senior leadership team, helping to execute the plan. This position is responsible for oversight of student-athlete leadership development and programming; diversity and inclusion; compliance and eligibility; admissions, recruiting and retention; sport supervision; and campus relations. This individual works in close collaboration with student-athletes and coaches and a variety of campus stakeholders and reports directly to the Chair of Physical Education/Director of Athletics. MHC is a member of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference, a very competitive league made up of highly selective academic institutions.
Master's degree or higher required. A minimum of five years of experience in positions with significant administrative responsibilities is required. Demonstrated excellence in communication skills with a variety of constituents, exceptional organizational skills with ability to balance a number of priorities and demonstrated experience with NCAA compliance are required. Experience working in a college or university setting, with the ability to bring best practice collegiate athletic administration experience is highly desirable.
