4 Year Degree
Responsible for the organization and administration of all facets of the men’s and women’s track and field / cross country programs to ensure quality programs and successful teams. Recruits athletes and oversees their training. Monitors and supports academic success of student-athletes. Builds and maintains a public awareness of the program. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills. Responsible for supervising coaching staff as well as student-workers.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Bachelor’s Degree. Three (3) years progressively responsible experience coaching track at the collegiate level. Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules. Commitment to student-athletes’ success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Head coaching experience in collegiate track. Success in collegiate coaching and recruiting. Demonstrated commitment to diversity. Familiarity with the Southern Conference.
