Reporting to the Executive Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Administration, this position will serve as a member of the Department of Athletics Senior Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day oversight over the Department of Athletics Compliance Office and will directly supervise four full-time staff members, up to two paid graduate assistant positions and numerous volunteer interns.This position may additionally entail sport administration oversight for a specific sport or sports. The candidate chosen for this position must be customer-service oriented with a track record of creating or using innovative technologies and processes to improve office efficiencies. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in a related /relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and at least five years of experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information concisely and effectively. Must be professional, organized, creative and efficient. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS to include Master's Degree and/or Juris Doctorate, 5 plus years of full-time working experience in a university athletics compliance office, an athletic conference office or the NCAA.
