Position Summary Program Support. The Marketing Assistant assists in the development, coordination and implementation of promotional plans for Athletics programs at Georgia Southern University to enhance overall game day fan experience and branding.
Works in conjunction with the Assistant Athletics Director for Fan Experience and Promotions to implement the operational processes associated with providing the best possible fan experience at all Georgia Southern Athletic events.
Assists in creation, development and implementation of marketing plans and in-game promotions for specific Georgia Southern Athletic Teams.
Coordinates all In-Game Fan Experiences for assigned sports, ensuring coordinated communication with all entities involved.
Assists with the rental of Bishop Building and oversees certain events in the building.
Coordinates communication of promotional calendar and events to community, staff and media outlets.
Creates marketing calendar for community events and special appearances.
