Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated, personable, organized and responsible sales professional to join our team as a Player Development Coordinator for the Softball Factory. As a Player Development Coordinator, you will identify and select players for Factory Athletics/Under Armour National Team and Training events. You will also be the main point of contact for families helping them navigate thru the college recruiting process. Under the direction of the Senior Vice President-Player Development this individual will support the company’s overall sales goals.
Responsibilities •Understand Factory Athletics Mission to help evaluate, develop, and promote high school athletes in their dream of playing at the next level.
•Travel to Factory Athletics/Under Armour National Tryouts throughout the United States. Conduct college recruiting/player development seminars, Q&A with families, and introduce players/families to the Factory Athletics brand. 30% of time will be spent traveling and 70% of time will be spent in the office.
•Review with parents/players FA/Under Armour National Tryout evaluations and answer questions on college recruiting process to assigned players.
• Sell player development and college recruiting programs to players that attend Factory Athletics/Under Armour National Tryouts (based on the Factory Athletics Scouting Report).
•Review Player Development evaluations and make recommendations for future Player Development programs.
•Main point of contact for all assigned players; provide quality information and timely customer service. Liaison between Factory Athletics operations and families.
•Utilize Sales Force to enter all opportunities and customer communication.
•Work to achieve individual and overall company cash/revenue goals.
Compensation and Benefits
•Base salary and commission plan with earning potential over 100k+ •Comprehensive benefit packages includes health, vision, and dental insurance and 401k.
• 1-2 years of inside or outside sales experience or 1-2 years of teaching/coaching experience.
• Self-motivated and strong desire to achieve success while being positive team member.
• Experienced public speaker.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
