Union College, a highly selective liberal arts institution located in Schenectady, New York is accepting applications for the position of part time seasonal Assistant Men’s and Women's Cross Country Coach. The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Programs compete in NCAA Division III and the Liberty League. Union College sponsors 26 intercollegiate sports, 24 in Division III, with Ice Hockey competing at Division I.
This position will assist the Head Coach in all phases of the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Programs (coaching, recruiting and administrative duties).
Bachelor’s degree required, collegiate running/coaching experience preferred; the ability to recruit within College, NCAA and Liberty League rules, strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills needed. Candidates must have an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations, along with a philosophy compatible with a multi-classified liberal arts college with highly selective academic standards. Candidate must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
