Planning, Development and Administration of all phases of a NCAA Division I women’s tennis program. Coordinate the overall operation and management of the university’s intercollegiate athletics women’s tennis program, including but not limited to: recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, individual and team preparation, practice and game organization and coaching, scheduling, fundraising and alumni and community relations. Plan, monitor, and be accountable for the administration of the program’s budget and for the assignment of athletics scholarships. Assume responsibility for the success of team performance and for student-athlete academic performance, academic performance rate eligibility, and behavioral conduct and other duties as assigned. Commitment to the responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Western Carolina University, The Southern Conference, and the NCAA.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Collegiate coaching experience and demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.
